Floyd's Informational Technology career was launched in 1977 as a computer programmer in training. His Informational Technology career progression over time has ranged from Application Development, Application Support, Defect Troubleshooting, Application Design, Development Solutions Estimating, Status Reporting, Team Lead and Project Management. His historical employments path has taken him through five fortune 500 companies.

Floyd's generosity has always driven him to make contributions to numerous charities and families in and around his communities. He has been an annual contributor to PALAS, which is an entity that awards scholarships on an annual basis, to students residing in the Caribbean region.
