Dr. Alvin Glay

Dr. Alvin Glay

Board Member

Dr. Alvin Glay is a marketing executive with over two decades of experience leading data-driven growth marketing strategies. Dr. Glay is a trailblazer in digital marketing, with a passion for leveraging digital technology and scienceto drive marketing growth for firms. He has expertise in executing marketing strategies across multiple sectors: retail, travel, consumer packaged goods,education, nonprofit, telecom, health, fitness, financial services and fashion.


Dr. Glay has successfully led and executed growth initiatives for major U.S. brands such as Procter & Gamble, Verizon Wireless, Carters, OshKosh B'Gosh, and many other brands throughout his career. Some of Dr. Glay accomplishments include leading double-digits revenue growth for Realself's new product division, double digits direct-to-consumer share of total revenue for Wahoo Fitness, and incubating the Verizon Wireless advertising product.


Dr. Glay holds a Doctoral in Business from Georgia State University, an MBA from Mercer University, and a BBA in finance from Georgia State. Dr. Glay's research interest is on direct-to-consumer marketing engagements, mobile marketing engagement, and loT marketing implications.


Dr. Glay's research on Push Mobile Marketing was recently accepted and published at the 2019 Engaged Management Conference. He has spoken at many marketing industries and academic conferences such as iMedia, Seattle Interactive, Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association, Engaged Management Conference, Marketing Edge Summits, and more. In his current role as VP of Growth and Strategy at Response Media, Dr. Glay will work cross-functionally to lead growth marketing strategies and customer insights to unlock growth opportunities for our clients.
