Andre Thompson
Managing Director
Andre Thompson is the Managing Director of Regions Financial Services Jamaica Limited, where he has led the company’s transformation into one of Jamaica’s most trusted and customer-focused financial services providers. Under his leadership, Regions has built a strong reputation for delivering transparent, relationship-driven financial solutions while maintaining a consistent focus on innovation, operational excellence, and long-term customer value.
With a professional background rooted in audit, financial advisory, and strategic finance, Andre previously served within the Audit & Assurance practice at Ernst & Young (EY), where he provided advisory support to multinational and institutional clients including The Coca-Cola Company and SunTrust Banks.
Over the years, he has developed extensive expertise across financial advisory, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, valuations, operational structuring, and strategic growth initiatives. His leadership approach combines strong financial discipline with a deep understanding of customer experience, operational scalability, and technology-driven transformation within the financial services sector.
Andre has played a central role in positioning Regions as a modern financial institution focused not only on lending, but on building long-term financial partnerships with its customers. This philosophy has contributed to strong customer retention, sustained portfolio growth, and the continued expansion of the company’s brand and operational footprint across Jamaica.
A graduate of Georgia State University, Andre earned a degree in Accounting with distinction and later completed executive studies in Mergers & Acquisitions through The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Today, he continues to lead Regions Financial Services through a period of strategic growth and modernization, with a focus on innovation, financial inclusion, customer experience, and the development of scalable financial solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of Jamaican consumers and businesses.
