Knowledge of local market trends and economic factors.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Compliance or Micro Credit Act.)

Qualifications
Application Analysis: Review and verify all information submitted by applicants for personal or business loans.
Credit Assessment: Analyze credit reports, financial statements, tax returns, and other supporting documents to evaluate an applicant's ability to repay the loan.
Risk Evaluation: Assess risk factors, including credit history, debt-to-income ratio, collateral valuation, and market conditions.
Compliance: Ensure all loan files and decisions comply with company policies, state and federal regulations, and lending guidelines.
Decision Making: Approve, deny, or recommend loan applications based on a comprehensive analysis of the applicant's financial profile and the associated risk.
Communication: Clearly communicate with loan officers, processors, and applicants to gather additional information or explain underwriting decisions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and well-organized loan files with thorough notes and justification for all decisions.
